Water, warmth and trust

At sunset’s molten glow the lake
Burns gold and rose beneath the sky;
Three naked souls in tender wake
Float free where day and dusk collide.

She bends to meet her mirrored twin,
Fingers tracing secrets in the glass;
Eyes bright with wonder deep within,
Vulnerability and self amass.

Another’s palm stirs liquid light,
Ripples bloom like laughter on her skin;
Each gentle splash—a soft delight,
A hymn to touch, to joy found deep within.

The third reclines in cooling streams,
Eyelids heavy with a drifting dream;
Her breath and water weave their seams,
A hushed devotion to the fading gleam.

At day’s last breath they stand as one—
No shields to guard, no walls between;
In friendship’s glow, their truths are spun
Where water, warmth, and trust convene.
